A “Bouquet on Grey” is part of a collection of paintings created after a season of detailed wedding portrait paintings by Kristina Bailey. Kristina Bailey made a splash in the wedding gift giving industry with the launch of her custom wedding dress and bridal bouquet portraits in sepia toned water colors. After 10 years of creating these custom paintings, Kristina Bailey returns to a more free form and colorful approach to painting what she calls “abstracted floral paintings”.
Kristina Bailey Painting and styling
Kristina Bailey styled this hutch for a friend and client with one of her favorite and unexpected color stories: mint + red. The vignette of the Crosley record player and mirrors on a vintage mint painted chest pairs perfectly with the client’s original painting by Kristina Bailey of abstracted red ranunculus.
Pink Peonies Painting by Kristina Bailey
Kristina Bailey painted these pink peonies maybe as early as 2007, and this painting with all it’s movement and pink energy continues to be a favorite portfolio piece of Kristina’s. If her 10+ year old memory serves her well, it was donated to the yearly Atlanta Youth Academy Art Auction in Atlanta, GA and is bringing color and joy to one of their patron’s walls years later.
Paintings and Styling by Kristina Bailey
This painting was one of Kristina Bailey’s earliest pieces in her abstracted floral series sold through the Emily Amy Gallery in Atlanta. She’s paired her painting with a vignette of her own design including a tulipiere and other treasures from her personal collection. Paintings and Styling by Kristina Bailey. www.KristinaBaileyArt.com
